Black
Don’t confuse this with an Americano. A Black coffee is the simplestone to make; steep ground coffee beans in hot water and serve it warm. If you are fancy, you can call this café noir. This coffee is not meant to be doctored up with sugar or milk.
Latte
One of the most popular drinks at any coffee outlet, thelatte consists of steamed milk added to a shot of espresso with a touch of foam. While traditionally this was had plain, these days you can flavour it with a shot of anything from pumpkin spice to vanilla. Affogato

Café au Lait
This is similar to the coffee we grew up drinking. A minimalist coffee drink, this includes a splash of warm milk to coffee.
